Welcome to the MSE Reserach Data Forum 2025 - Digital Solutions for tomorrows Materials Science - by NFDI-MatWerk - from 8 - 10 July in Siegburg.

Who should attend?

Researchers from all fields of Materials Science and Engineering who deal with data in their daily research – whether in experimental, theoretical, or computational settings. The forum is open to anyone interested in sharing practical experiences, learning from others, and contributing to a community-driven approach to research data.

We welcome contributions from members of the NFDI-MatWerk consortium as well as from the broader MSE community.

Why attend?

The MSE Research Data Forum 2025 puts the value of data for materials research at the center – from experiences of individual scientists, collaborative projects to community-driven solutions.
Whether you’re working on structured data management, developing digital workflows, or simply navigating the data challenges of your research: this forum is your place to exchange, reflect, and contribute.

Short presentations, joint discussions after every session, and a single-track format create space for focused dialogue and meaningful connections across disciplines.

Join us to share your perspective – and to help shape how materials science works with data.
