With increasing data volumes and advanced computing resources, digitalization is crucial for Germany’s research and innovation sectors. Effective data management and evaluation are essential for progress in MSE. By participating, stakeholders can help align data management developments with actual needs. This survey is especially valuable for those who participated in the 2020 survey, aiding in a comparative analysis of progress. 

The survey takes about 10-15 minutes and is open until 31 July 2024. The NFDI-MatWerk consortium urges the MSE community to share their insights to improve digitization practices.
