Criteria for new Participant Projects

  • Context: Participant Projects (PPs) are selected from ongoing scientific projects or areas within Materials Science and Engineering (MSE), or from their institutions, based on specific criteria.
  • Their Role: PPs serve as examples of typical research data management tasks and demonstrate the wide range of scientific activities supported by our materials research data infrastructure.
  • Participation Criteria: Participation is mutually beneficial. PPs provide data, tools, solutions, and expertise. In return, they gain valuable experience with digital infrastructure and benefit from knowledge expansion, outreach opportunities, and increased visibility within the scientific community.
  • Inclusion Criteria: Special consideration is given to large collaborative efforts, such as Clusters of Excellence, Collaborative Research Centers, and International Research Training Groups, that meet the broad outreach criteria of NFDI-MatWerk.
