At the second MaterialDigital workshop, 14-15 May 2019, Freiburg, stakeholders from industry and science will meet with the conviction that development and manufacturing processes can be made much more efficient through digital workflows. They take the view that managing the product life cycle takes on a new quality by describing material properties and their changes as consistently as possible. The participants work on topics such as artificial intelligence, digital representations, data platforms, data formats or high-throughput methods in order to create digital workflows, material data flows and more material intelligence in products and processs.
