We support researchers in Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) with FAIR data solutions that enable new discovery.

We envision research data management (RDM) that supports every stage of a project, strengthens collaboration through easier data exchange, and integrates materials data from different techniques, including experiments and simulations.

We invite researchers with all levels of RDM knowledge to engage with an ecosystem of adaptable workflows, services, tools, and guidance that support daily laboratory and simulation work.

Siegburg, 08 to 09 March 2023: For the second time, old and new faces of the NFDI-MatWerk Initiative will meet to share the current state of work in the task areas and to tackle a common strategy.

Getting started! From 8 to 9 March 2023, the experts of the #NFDI-MatWerk Initiative will meet for the second All-Hands-On-Deck meeting, online and on-site at the RHEIN SIEG FORUM in Siegburg.
The familiar faces of the first meeting in 2022 have been joined by new group members. Two days full of content await everyone, with the goal of exchanging information about the current state of work in the task areas and bringing content together even more strongly for an overarching solution strategy.
We are pleased to welcome members of the Task Areas Strategy Development, Community Interaction, Materials Data Infrastructure, Ontologies for Materials Science and Data Infrastructure.
On the second day, representatives of the Participant Projects follow up.
