NFDI-MatWerk - Responsive Layout
NFDI-MatWerk – National Research Data Infrastructure for MSE

We support researchers in Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) with FAIR data solutions that enable new discovery.

We envision research data management (RDM) that supports every stage of a project, strengthens collaboration through easier data exchange, and integrates materials data from different techniques, including experiments and simulations.

We invite researchers with all levels of RDM knowledge to engage with an ecosystem of adaptable workflows, services, tools, and guidance that support daily laboratory and simulation work.

Digitalchangemaker Accelerator and Fellowships

The Stifterverband and the Reinhard Frank Foundation are launching the second round of the DigitalChangeMaker Accelerator program, aimed at transforming digital higher education. The program encourages student tandems or trios to apply with innovative project ideas that can shape the digital transformation at universities.

The fellowship program runs for four months and provides both financial support (1,200 Euros per team) and non-material support, including workshops, coaching, and access to networks. The program is open to all students, regardless of their field of study, and encourages applications for new or existing projects that can positively impact digital higher education.

The application deadline is July 26, 2023, and the program will kick off in Berlin on August 14, 2023. The program is divided into four phases: Building the Base, Zooming-out Phase, Zooming-in Phase, and Collaboration Phase. The program is also open to international students, and sufficient English skills are required as workshops and events may be held in English.
