Lunch Talk on Research Data Management

In a time when the research landscape is being shaped by digital transformation, the joint Lunch Talk by DGM and NFDI-MatWerk invites dialogue on research data management. The online event on 8 December promises to debunk myths and provide a platform for open exchange, regardless of your previous stance on the topic. Discover the facets of research data management and enrich the discussion with your unique perspective.

NFDI-MatWerk and the German Materials Society (DGM) cordially invite you to an exclusive Lunch Talk to jointly demystify the often misunderstood aspects of research data management. In this context, professionals, students, and all interested parties have the opportunity to actively participate in this essential discussion and contribute their suggestions.

On 8 December, from 12:30 to 1:30pm CEST, participants can expect a dynamic session, moderated by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Martina Zimmermann, spokesperson for the NFDI-MatWerk Task Area “Community Interaction”. In an atmosphere characterized by openness, diversity, and empathy, the Lunch Talk aims to dispel misunderstandings or possible prejudices, offering a unique platform where every voice counts, and skeptics as well as enthusiasts are equally welcome.

Thanks to the online nature of the event, access is uncomplicated and possible regardless of your location. So take this opportunity to exchange ideas with other interested parties, network, and contribute with us to an open dialogue in the landscape of research data management.
