Scientists from all over Germany work together in NFDI-MatWerk. It operates like a company, with employees assigned to different departments and groups working on projects. There are also managers and external consultants. NFDI-MatWerk is constantly growing, new people join, some leave and others change projects. As a newcomer to NFDI-MatWerk, you may feel overwhelmed not only by the wide range of topics and new terms, but also by the complex organizational structure.

The internal section of the website is intended to make it more transparent for all members of the NFDI-MatWerk to see who is working in which sub-unit and who to contact if questions arise. It also allows for direct communication with project team members via chat. While other communication channels already exist, the internal area serves as a complementary, overarching platform for further networking.
