NFDI-MatWerk is organized into five dedicated Task Areas (TAs), each focusing on a specific aspect of the digital infrastructure needed to advance materials science and engineering. These Task Areas are designed to collaboratively address the various challenges of materials data management and use, and to ensure that the overall infrastructure is comprehensive, interoperable, and responsive to the needs of the research community. With their individual focus areas, such as experimental data integration, modeling workflows, and community outreach, the Task Areas are driving the development of robust and flexible solutions tailored to the dynamic nature of materials science.
