Overview

The Task Area Community Interaction (TA-CI) engages the materials science community in the development and improvement of the digital research infrastructure. TA-CI stimulates stakeholder dialog and collaboration through workshops, conferences, and interactive platforms. By aligning the infrastructure with evolving scientific needs and integrating feedback from participating projects, TA-CI ensures that the infrastructure meets the needs of the community and supports a cohesive research network.

Goals

  • Promote Stakeholder Engagement: Ensure broad involvement from stakeholders in infrastructure development through ongoing dialogue and participation in decision-making processes.
  • Facilitate Knowledge Exchange: Foster knowledge sharing within the materials science community by organizing workshops, conferences, and other events to exchange ideas and address challenges.
  • Build a Collaborative Network: Promote a collaborative network of researchers by providing platforms and tools that support collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Provide Education and Training: Offer and conduct education and training programs for researchers, technical professionals, and students to build competencies in using the digital infrastructure and related tools.
