The research data landscape in materials tomography is scattered across different techniques and the resulting data, formats and workflows have emerged from peculiarities and needs from the different research questions. PP 13 contributes the perspectives of a multimodal materials tomography core facility, providing a broad understanding of different tomography techniques. In addition to that, in situ mechanical testing is also part of the method range, providing links between microstructure and properties. The aim is to promote interoperability of tomography (meta)data and workflows by working towards schemas and ontologies.
